Let the experts do it right the first time.
Mold remediation is a delicate business best left to professional mold removal companies, like Accelerated Remediation. Mold removal in Boca Raton, Parkland, Pompano Beach, Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach, Highland Beach, and all surrounding areas in South Florida is common because mold is common. If we perform mold testing, and mold detection occurs – we also perform a black mold test – then we can begin the process of mold treatment, including black mold removal. Water and humidity damage are the primary culprits in our humid, tropical climate, so if you suspect water damage has occurred, or if you can see or smell it, it’s time to contact Accelerated Remediation! After remediation, we perform a mold inspection to confirm we’ve eliminated the risk.
Mold remediation consists of several proven processes that guarantee our success, beginning with creating your remediation protocol, which instructs professionals on containment, mold colony location(s), and the necessary procedures recommended for mold remediation.
Our Mold Treatment Process
Next, we’ll erect a containment area by securing plastic sheeting around the remediation area, creating a barrier preventing mold spores from escaping and reinfesting other areas of the home or business. Then we’ll create negative pressure in the area, using air scrubbers, filtering out small particulate down to .3 microns, about 250 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. Negative pressure prevents the release of contaminants into surrounding, uninfected areas. After that, we’ll remove contaminated and unsalvageable materials and items, and dispose of them as regulations require.
Intact materials are treated with a fungicide and scoured to remove contamination. Treatment with a multipurpose fungicide will kill actively growing mold and spores, while physically scouring will dislodge the mold bodies and allow for removal by air scrubbers and HEPA vacuuming, which is our final step prior to restoration. High Efficiency Particulate Arresting – the beloved HEPA – vacuuming retains smaller particulates such as spores where conventional vacuums exhaust spores back out into your air.
Mold Remediation for your Home
Restoration can include exterior home sealing to prevent water intrusion, insect access, and leaking air conditioning. We seal windows, doors, fixtures, skylights, chimneys, corner joints, and plumbing to mitigate future damage.
Other remediation efforts include deploying an anti-microbial interior fog, which is the same process used in hospitals and doctors’ offices, and is great for families with asthma or allergies. You can protect your home and business from mold, fungi, viruses, bacteria, influenza, dust mites, cat and dog allergens, and microorganisms. Our non-toxic antimicrobial fog, approved by the EPA, can protect your family from 99.99% of disease-causing agents and is safe on all surfaces, including fabrics, paper, and electronics.
